Thanks Lenetta. I still come to the board and still collect, although not much. Do not really have the extra money for them. It was a good day. Well as good as
it could be.
On Friday I took Rob in for an endoscopy and they took 5 biopsies. The doctor found what looks like Barrett's esophagus with pre-cancerous cells. We go in for the results tomorrow morning. The doctor said that is looks like it is in the pre-cancerous stage, but the biopsies will tell us for sure. From the research I have done I found the following People with Barrett's esophagus have a low risk of developing a kind of cancer called esophageal adenocarcinoma. Barrett's esophagus may be present for several years before cancer develops. He has had acid reflux for years and we would not have found this out if Rob had not volunteered for a study for acid reflux. They did the endoscopy for free. So now we will have to deal with this.
