Today the show closes. I managed to get up in time to ride my bike over there and pick up a few more
specimens before work. I got 2 Selenite (apprx 12") wands, a piece of white Albite from VA, some pale pink Mangano-calcite* from Peru, some Chinese Ice
Blue (this the guy re-names to protect his source, so I don't know the correct mineral name), and a small but beautiful piece of Amazonite I won in the
auction.

Didn't know anything about these stones so I went loking on google. They have a lot of purpose behind them. I think we all could use a few of these from time to time. lol |

I think so, too!
Well, I checked Hallmark yesterday, and although I did not intend to, got the PEPPERMINT & SPEARMINT bears. I was thinking the candies on the chest would be embroidered, but it's a piece of plastic. I got them anyway. I saw the Beanie Boos in person, also. Not too big a fan of the Ty Silk fabric. I like the more natural-looking fur. kenney |
